Nicholson, Winifred. (Compiled by Andrew Nicholson).
Unknown Colour: Paintings, Letters, Writings by Winifred Nicholson
(Faber & Faber Ltd, London, 1987). An extremely scarce title, for the collector. Very good, clean, tight copy. Compiled by Andrew Nicholson. Winifred Nicholson (1893-1981), wife of Ben Nicholson, is particularly remembered for her exquisite flower studies - many of which were painted before a window.
