The colours are green, grey, purple and white and the image depicts a suffragette in contemporary dress standing in a field and holding aloft a copy of the newspaper. (Originally published by the Artists' Suffrage League). Image (in brown, gold and cream sepia) shows an educated woman, wearing cap and gown, and standing inside locked gates with a convict and a "lunatic".
