The image is printed in vibrant lithographic colours and is taken from a suffragette poster advertising The Suffragette Newspaper, edited by Christabel Pankhurst. Image (in purple, brown, green, and white) shows Justice, a woman warrior in armour, holding a WSPU flag. Winter, and originally produced by the Artists' Suffrage League (date unknown). Image (in shades of brown, cream and sand) shows weary and dejected British working woman at a sewing machine, with the slogan "Votes for Workers" beneath it.
